Can you believe the year is already 1/4 of the way over? I sure can’t…it doesn’t seem real.
Seriously-all I have been doing is working and sewing lol.
Josh has been crazy busy with school-as always
We’ve got nearly a whole new staff at work and I’ve been super busy training them! It’s been fun and I enjoy them all. I realize how much I actually know when I get 5 or 6 questions tossed at me all at once-and sometimes I can answer them all.
We had some crazy snow here! Nothing like back home in Idaho-but the people here feel like it’s one of the worst winters they remember in a lot of ways. I will agree that the roads get horrid-but it’s because of the lack of ability to maintain them in the winter, not so much because of extreme weather.
We’re definitely on our way to spring! Had a few 70+ degree days and now we’re getting our rain. Today I even found this little guy fighting his way up through the raindrops…
This past week was a super busy one for Josh. They had started a new block, and just picked their schedules for the rest of Vet School. Now he knows who he will be in class with and when his classes and breaks are! The end seems so far yet so close at the same time. This past week though, he had a bunch of tests and quizzes, and on top of that he had to prepare his presentation and poster for a poster research contest. He went to a National one in Georgia previously, and this one was one just for Mizzou vet students. He fixed a few errors and had to change the poster size for this contest. He had to present his research in front of judges and answer their questions. He did a great job and took second place!
I’ve been sewing stuff for that fundraiser silent auction, and I finally finished everything. I feel good to have gotten it done and am happy with how it all turned out! I hope it raises some money :)
I will put up some more detailed pictures on my craft blog, but it’s a set that includes a table runner, button towels, pot holders, and flowy apron-all designed by me.
